1. The service
Compare Contracts Online ("we", "us") provides an algorithm-assisted tool that compares two documents you upload and highlights discrepancies between them ("the Service"). The Service is provided for informational purposes to help you review documents more efficiently.
2. Not legal advice
The Service is a first-pass automated review and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified legal professional. You should not rely solely on the Service's output for decisions involving material legal, financial, or contractual risk. We make no representation that the output is complete, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Free comparison & subscriptions
New accounts receive one free comparison. Continued use of the Service beyond the free comparison requires an active paid subscription, billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to upload content you do not have the right to share, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or to use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Your documents
You retain all rights to documents you upload. As described in our Privacy Policy and Security page, we do not retain your raw document content after a comparison completes.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
