1. Information we collect

We collect the email address and password you provide when creating an account, and basic billing information handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe (we never see your card details). We also keep an audit log of account activity (such as logins and comparisons run) for security and support purposes.

2. Your documents

When you run a comparison, the text extracted from your documents is sent to our analysis engine and held in server memory only for the duration of that request. We do not write your document content to any database or file storage. Once the comparison completes, only the resulting findings — titles, severity, and plain-English explanations — are saved to your account history. The verbatim excerpts shown in your live results are never persisted.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the Service: authenticating your account, running comparisons you request, processing payments, and providing support. We do not sell your information to third parties.

4. Third-party processors

We use Anthropic's Claude API to perform the document comparison and Stripe to process payments. Each operates under its own privacy and security commitments. We do not permit our document content to be used to train any third-party model.

5. Data retention

Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. Comparison findings (without document content) are retained so you can view your history, until you delete your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated records at any time by contacting support.

6. Security

All connections to the Service use HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using Argon2id. See our Security page for full details.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us using the support address in our footer to exercise these rights.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page.
